After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Reginald Orourke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kärna's supporters rose to their feet, but Reginald Orourke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Bergqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elias Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Bogren in the 12th minute of the match. Ludvig Björk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hampus Arenstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hampus Arenstedt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Alfred Turek took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Elias Bergqvist to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Borgstena RK's zone, Osvald Karlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Bergqvist came out of the goal and Osvald Karlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Viggo Bogren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elias Bergqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Viggo Bogren slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 58th minute. Elias Bergqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viggo Bogren in the 61st minute. Ludvig Björk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hampus Arenstedt in the 69th minute of play. If Viggo Bogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Bergqvist made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Viggo Bogren sent off a good shot on target. Elias Bergqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfred Turek in the 77th minute. In the 85th minute Hampus Arenstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludvig Björk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viggo Bogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
