Miromir Wawak might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Tönnberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miromir Wawak ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute, Kåre Ersman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Michel Persson, passed just outside the right post. Hipolito Liberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Michel Persson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Arsenal Fc's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Carlos Giro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Andersson in the 18th minute of play forced Fenerbahce SK's goalkeeper Hugo Tönnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Sjöberg made in the 20th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tomas Burman. After 21st play minutes Tomas Burman shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Michel Persson and just under the crossbar into goal. Hipolito Liberto took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michel Persson. Michel Persson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Carlos Giro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michel Persson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Rune Sjöberg got a throw-in 43 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hipolito Liberto. 43 minutes in the game, Hipolito Liberto fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Michel Persson having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hipolito Liberto was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Carlos Giro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fenerbahce SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Carlos Giro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the game, Hipolito Liberto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Michel Persson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Arsenal Fc getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. 秦寒鸿 hit a great ball. Joseph Lindqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arsenal Fc's Michel Persson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Fredriksson in the 64th minute of play. Fenerbahce SK were furious when Malcolm Kaxe was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Hugo Tönnberg had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Hamid Persson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Michel Persson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Burman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michel Persson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Liberto in the 69th minute of the match. Hipolito Liberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Persson having to interfere. Miromir Wawak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Hugo Tönnberg made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Fredriksson in the 87th minute of play forced Arsenal Fc's goalkeeper Michel Persson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hipolito Liberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Persson having to interfere. Michel Persson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Axel Överman, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fenerbahce SK fully deserved thier win.
