Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Mats Alberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Östen Colin's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After 10 played minutes Trönödal IF got a freekick which was hit by Per-Oskar Mikaelsson. 11 minutes into the game, Arsenal FC's Östen Colin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mats Alberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 21st minute, Jörgen Bergqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jörgen Bergqvist came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Trönödal IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörgen Bergqvist couldn't finish the play. Östen Colin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th match minute, Arsenal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Asklöv to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Jörgen Bergqvist fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After the first half Arsenal FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albin Säf to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Arsenal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Östen Colin to maneuver through the defense. Albin Säf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the game, Jörgen Löfgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trönödal IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal FC the free kick. In the 63rd minute, Arsenal FC's Thomas Olsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. If Albin Säf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Trönödal IF's Jörgen Bergqvist in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arsenal FC's goalie prevented a goal. Mats Alberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Östen Colin in the 80th minute. Albin Säf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute, Per-Oskar Mikaelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal FC's zone, Jörgen Bergqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddie Levander came out of the goal and Jörgen Bergqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jörgen Bergqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Freddie Levander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
