Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Per Göransson started the match with the kick off. Per Göransson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rickard Holmberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Per Göransson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Kåre Albom charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kåre Albom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th match minute, Frändefors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kåre Albom to maneuver through the defense. Örjan Ödman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Åsele's goalkeeper Rickard Holmberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elof Engman. 17 minutes into the match, Kåre Albom dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rickard Holmberg, 2-0. 23 minutes into the game, Hans Nießen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Marcus Beneth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bengt Kinell kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Hans Nießen took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Beneth. Marcus Beneth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Marcus Beneth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Nießen in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Henning Cane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rickard Holmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elof Engman, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Marcus Beneth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Nießen, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Frändefors's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Nießen came free, but Marcus Beneth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Nießen struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Marcus Beneth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åsele. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Per Göransson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rickard Holmberg. Åsele's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per Göransson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Frändefors were furious when Jan-Åke Göransson was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Åsele made a substitution. Claes Hultstrand replaced Hans Nießen. Åsele made a substitution. Lucas Santana replaced Mikael Albohm. In a very dangerous position, a player in Frändefors fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Åsele a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nicklas Simonsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Frändefors's Marcus Beneth. 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elof Engman in the 71st minute of play forced Åsele's goalkeeper Rickard Holmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frändefors's Marcus Beneth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claes Hultstrand in the 78th minute of play. Örjan Ödman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Åsele made a substitution. Andréas Ekelund replaced Nicklas Simonsson. Kåre Albom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claes Hultstrand in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Beneth saved Frändefors from getting behind. Elof Engman kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Åsele had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
