If Johnny Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23rd play minutes Johnny Hermansson shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Bertil Fastesson and just under the crossbar into goal. Bertil Fastesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasmus Lindblom, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes, Johnny Hermansson made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Oviken FF's Bertil Fastesson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Örbyhus fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Örbyhus's Johnny Hermansson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joacim Sjöman to make the kick off. The supporters of Oviken FF booed when Örbyhus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Lindmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joacim Sjöman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 played minutes, Örbyhus's Karl-Michael Sjögren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bertil Fastesson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Örbyhus reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johnny Hermansson in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bertil Fastesson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the match, Örbyhus's Johnny Hermansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bertil Fastesson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oviken FF's Bertil Fastesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Hermansson in the 70th minute of play. When Robert Törnqvist came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Örbyhus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Törnqvist couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Wallin charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Wallin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Through an outstanding action, after 99 minutes, Bertil Fastesson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match was over Örbyhus could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Oviken FF throughout the match.
