Spectators: 6651 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 0) Anders Hultin made the kick off and thus started the match. Olof Palmquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Helge Skröder's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Helge Skröder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Palmquist having to interfere. Ösmo FK's Ken Basciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Ersman in the 13th minute of play. Anders Hultin scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olof Palmquist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 20 minutes into the game, when Anton Sävström put in a rough tackle. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Real Malmö FF! In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Ösmo FK. Yanniek De Pauw stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Olof Palmquist. 2-0. Lennart Ersman took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ken Basciano. Ken Basciano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Olof Palmquist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hjalmar Finman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anders Hultin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Olof Palmquist made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kjell Låsberg to make the kick off. Olof Palmquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Helge Skröder's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Olof Palmquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yanniek De Pauw, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60thth minute of the game Anders Hultin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Malmö FF's Olof Palmquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st match minute, Real Malmö FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Bergren to maneuver through the defense. Jörn Lundström charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jörn Lundström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Jörn Lundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes, Ösmo FK's Yanniek De Pauw shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olof Palmquist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ösmo FK reached it. 71 minutes into the match, Kjell Låsberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ken Basciano, 2-2. The Real Malmö FF fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Real Malmö FF's Kjell Låsberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Helge Skröder struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Olof Palmquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ösmo FK. After 86 played minutes Real Malmö FF got a freekick which was hit by Carl Bergren. In the 88th match minute, Real Malmö FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Bergren to maneuver through the defense. Olof Håkansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Malmö FF's Olof Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Skröder in the 92nd minute of play. Real Malmö FF were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Ösmo FK's much stronger midfield.
