Rickard Zander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Mårtensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Klintehamn's Måns Westerstrand got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Svante Pedersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Leeds United's Sune Paulin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Alstedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herbert Mårtensson during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Svante Pedersson came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Klintehamn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Svante Pedersson couldn't finish the play. Herbert Mårtensson took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rickard Zander. Rickard Zander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 87 minutes into the game, Kjell Björkqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Klintehamn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leeds United the free kick. The supporters of Leeds United booed when Klintehamn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Björkqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klintehamn's Måns Westerstrand got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Karl Kinell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rickard Zander. Leeds United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl Kinell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Klintehamn had won after a very even match.
