When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joakim Hedström made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Örjan Skog fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ivan Askestät, passed just outside the right post. Sture Johansson hit a great ball. Torsten Haraldsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Sven-Åke Hellqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Askestät made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olov Sundberg in the 74th minute.
