Spectators: 6688 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 10) Bertil Bergdal started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Fjärås IFK's Knut Ek got control of the ball when Nils-Emil Bagge tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fjärås IFK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Tage Flinck scored to the left of an out of position Knut Ek, making the score, 1-0. In the 12th match minute, Fjärås IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Forsberg to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Forsberg came free, but Mauro da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils-Emil Bagge got free with Knut Ek in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 26 played minutes Fjärås IFK got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Wennersten. In the 28th match minute, Fjärås IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pelle Alström to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match, Nils-Emil Bagge got a very nice opportunity to score, but Knut Ek was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mats Forsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro da Cunha having to interfere. After 41 played minutes, Fjärås IFK's Sakarias Lundkvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mauro da Cunha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fjärås IFK reached it. After a rather tough play, Fjärås IFK's Magne Broberg got a free kick in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tage Flinck to strike the kick off in the second half. Samuel Castleton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bertil Bergdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gottfrid Fransson kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Mauro da Cunha acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sakarias Lundkvist. Liverpool FC's Samuel Castleton got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tage Flinck in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Knut Ek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nils-Emil Bagge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Knut Ek having to make a save. Samuel Castleton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Knut Ek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Nils-Emil Bagge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Knut Ek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Castleton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Fjärås IFK's zone, Samuel Castleton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Knut Ek came out of the goal and Samuel Castleton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute, Tage Flinck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Knut Ek was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.
