Urban Lundberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svante Ljungberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rikard Göransson might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urban Lundberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rikard Göransson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute Rikard Göransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urban Lundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximilian Billström hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Manfred Lövskog scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hannes Lindell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Urban Lundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Finnman in the 23rd minute of the match. Urban Lundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Finnman in the 24th minute of play. Mörbultade FF's Urban Lundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rikard Göransson in the 26th minute of play. Rikard Göransson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urban Lundberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Egil Strömbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Urban Lundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Svante Ljungberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urban Lundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mörbultade FF booed when Fränsta FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Finnman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Mörbultade FF defense, Svante Ljungberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urban Lundberg. The Mörbultade FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urban Lundberg should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Mörbultade FF's zone, Alexander Finnman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urban Lundberg came out of the goal and Alexander Finnman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Mörbultade FF getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Robert Stor hit a great ball. Rikard Göransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urban Lundberg having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Svante Ljungberg was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Jens-Ola Engman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Urban Lundberg. Jens-Ola Engman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. If Rikard Göransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urban Lundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svante Ljungberg in the 60th minute of the match. Rikard Göransson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jens-Ola Engman came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Fränsta FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Ola Engman couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Mörbultade FF's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Finnman came free, but Urban Lundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rikard Göransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urban Lundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svante Ljungberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Frank Skålberg's late challenge caught a Fränsta FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Skålberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes Mörbultade FF got a freekick which was hit by Frank Skålberg. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Alexander Finnman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fränsta FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Finnman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urban Lundberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikard Göransson in the 76th minute of play forced Mörbultade FF's goalkeeper Urban Lundberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Mörbultade FF's goalkeeper Urban Lundberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexander Finnman. 81 minutes into the match, Mörbultade FF's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Finnman came free, but Urban Lundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
