Åke Bäckström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Al Bundy to make the kick off. Åke Bäckström was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. George Odman made in the 85th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Antoni Plech immediately put the ball in play. Ted Stenström made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ljungaverk IK's Bertil Pihl. Al Bundy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Al Bundy in the 89th minute of play forced Bromölla's goalkeeper Åke Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ljungaverk IK fully deserved thier win.
