After a defensive mix-up in Kosta BK's zone, Manuel Abecia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonny Glanselius came out of the goal and Manuel Abecia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Björn Collin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Tham in the 21st minute of play. Malte Tham kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Adrian Olsmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Björn Collin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malte Tham, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Emanuel Skoog could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Jonny Glanselius made a huge save. Jonny Glanselius made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Manuel Abecia sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute of the match, Kent Österlund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonny Glanselius saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 43rd minute Malte Tham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Collin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Kosta BK's Malte Tham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Björn Collin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bruksvallarna RK's Ernst Lundström was substituted for Adrian Olsmann. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Malte Tham to make the kick off. A collision led to Kosta BK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. 龙海俊 hit a great ball. Malte Tham might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Björn Collin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Malte Tham ran back to his position shaking his head. With 63 minutes on the clock, Olle Soned commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 62nd minute, one of Bruksvallarna RK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bruksvallarna RK. Bruksvallarna RK:s Björn Collin showed great skill when he stopped Evrei Draper:s penalty. Kosta BK's Jonny Glanselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Danielsson in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Douglas Fanström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kosta BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bruksvallarna RK the free kick. In the 73rd minute, one of Kosta BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kosta BK. Kosta BK:s Jonny Glanselius showed great skill when he stopped Manuel Abecia:s penalty. In the 77th minute, Martin Danielsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Malte Tham in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Björn Collin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Harry Sjöberg's late challenge caught a Kosta BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harry Sjöberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Bruksvallarna RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernst Lundström to maneuver through the defense. Björn Collin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malte Tham, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 龙海俊 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Collin having to interfere. Malte Tham did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Björn Collin 96 minutes into the match. Martin Danielsson charged in rather forcefully in the 100th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Danielsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Martin Danielsson hit a great freekick 100 minutes into the match. The Kosta BK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kosta BK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
