Spectators: 6646 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1646, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jens-Ove Jonasson took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Tomas Bäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Bäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sivert Stenkvist in the 11th minute of play forced Vallvik FF's goalkeeper Leo Åström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Åström came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Lerum's Andreas Byström. But to his dismay, Andreas Byström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 17th match minute, Lerum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sivert Stenkvist to maneuver through the defense. Malte Simonsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Bäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Hannes Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lerum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hannes Fransson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leo Åström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Byström in the 23rd minute of play. In the 31st minute, Hannes Fransson made a precise shot to the right of Leo Åström. Vallvik FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 41 minutes into the game, Hannes Fransson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Leo Åström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After a rather tough play, Vallvik FF's Matthias Wennerqvist got a free kick in the 51st minute. Jens-Ove Jonasson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Malte Simonsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Jens-Ove Jonasson had several of the Lerum's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 58 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Malte Simonsson as he didn't even see the shot coming. 61 minutes into the match, Lerum's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ove Jonasson came free, but Malte Simonsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Bäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 64 minutes, Hannes Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lerum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hannes Fransson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Lerum getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Joachim Hedström hit a great ball. Lerum's Malte Simonsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börge Lekberg in the 72nd minute of play. Leo Åström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Byström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Tomas Bäck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andreas Byström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Åström having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ove Jonasson in the 84th minute of play forced Lerum's goalkeeper Malte Simonsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Lerum's goalkeeper Malte Simonsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Bäck. Kent Björkman kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Vallvik FF were awarded a corner. Börge Lekberg went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Vallvik FF's Algot Mattsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Malte Simonsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tomas Bäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malte Simonsson having to interfere. Malte Simonsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Jonasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Lerum's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
