Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rydebäck IFK's Ulf Bokelund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Åke Gustavsson in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Rydebäck IFK booed when Brunflo FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torgny Danielsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Brunflo FF's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Hamnberg came free, but Zebastian Bredberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, one of Brunflo FF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brunflo FF. Brunflo FF:s Zebastian Bredberg showed great skill when he stopped Olov Stålman:s penalty. Ronny Ekström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Zebastian Bredberg made a huge save. In the 28th minute, Sven-Åke Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Ronny Ekström put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Zebastian Bredberg. If Ronny Ekström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronny Ekström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zebastian Bredberg having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Karl-Ove Hamnberg made the kick off in the second half. Zebastian Bredberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Ove Hamnberg in the 52nd minute of play. When Jonas Backlund came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Brunflo FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Backlund couldn't finish the play. Zebastian Bredberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Ekström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Ove Hamnberg in the 66th minute of play forced Brunflo FF's goalkeeper Zebastian Bredberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Åke Gustavsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Bokelund having to interfere. Ulf Bokelund made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Jonas Backlund sent off a good shot on target. Rydebäck IFK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sven-Åke Gustavsson 72 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Ekström in the 76th minute of play forced Brunflo FF's goalkeeper Zebastian Bredberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronny Ekström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Rydebäck IFK getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Alvin Ahlstedt hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronny Ekström in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zebastian Bredberg saved Brunflo FF from getting behind. 86 minutes into the match, Brunflo FF's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Hamnberg came free, but Zebastian Bredberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Ekström in the 87th minute of play forced Brunflo FF's goalkeeper Zebastian Bredberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sixten Alströmer charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sixten Alströmer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Brunflo FF's Sixten Alströmer got a free kick in the 94th minute. Karl-Ove Hamnberg struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Zebastian Bredberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rydebäck IFK.
