An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Bodin in the 27th minute of play forced Mellösa IF's goalkeeper Niklas Björling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olofstorps Gunners's Ingvar Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Uggstedt in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Vidar Nyström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute Ola Bodin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Björling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niklas Björling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henric Vallman in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute of the match, Ola Bodin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Niklas Björling saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vidar Nyström to make the kick off. Gabriel Uggstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olofstorps Gunners's goalkeeper Ingvar Lindström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Robert Salkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ingvar Lindström. Olofstorps Gunners's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Salkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 84 minutes into the match, Henric Vallman notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Mellösa IF's Niklas Björling. Niklas Björling was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gabriel Uggstedt took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ingvar Lindström. Ingvar Lindström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3.
