The crowd rose to their feet as Víktor Freitas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 崔竞俊. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Högsäter FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víktor Freitas to maneuver through the defense. Mikael Olsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Högsäter FK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gottfrid Örtlund hit a great ball. Mikael Olsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Lange having to interfere. IK Frisco's Paavali Kurri got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 29 minutes, Gottfrid Örtlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Högsäter FK and the IK Frisco players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Högsäter FK got a freekick which was hit by Gottfrid Örtlund. Mikael Olsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Sten Lange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Högsäter FK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Wit Debkowski hit a great ball. Högsäter FK's Sten Lange played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paavali Kurri in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute Mikael Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Lange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paavali Kurri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Lange having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Dan Arvidsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 崔竞俊 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víktor Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Frank Målare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. 崔竞俊 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 崔竞俊 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Çağrı Hiçyılmaz in the 57th minute of play. 崔竞俊 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wit Debkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 played minutes IK Frisco got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Ove Browall. Sten Lange took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paavali Kurri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sten Lange made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paavali Kurri in the 65th minute. After 66 minutes, Mehmet Çağrı Hiçyılmaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Högsäter FK and the IK Frisco players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of IK Frisco booed when Högsäter FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Çağrı Hiçyılmaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sten Lange made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paavali Kurri in the 72nd minute. Mehmet Çağrı Hiçyılmaz was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 75th match minute, Högsäter FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Çağrı Hiçyılmaz to maneuver through the defense. Dan Arvidsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sten Lange. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Arvidsson ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Högsäter FK's zone, Dan Arvidsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sten Lange came out of the goal and Dan Arvidsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mikael Olsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Sten Lange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, Högsäter FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sivert Magnusson to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Högsäter FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sven-Ove Browall fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Many of IK Frisco's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. IK Frisco may have spent more time on the ball, but Högsäter FK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
