Frank Målare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Víktor Freitas made a precise shot to the right of Gustaf Björnberg. Rimbo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 17 minutes into the game, Fausto Galvão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Sten Lange was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Víktor Freitas struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Gustaf Björnberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Högsäter FK. 27 minutes into the match, Leonard Tunberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sten Lange. Högsäter FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonard Tunberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Víktor Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gustaf Björnberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42ndth minute of the game Fausto Galvão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Högsäter FK's Sten Lange was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Víktor Freitas's late challenge caught a Rimbo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Víktor Freitas helped the player get up and apologised. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Víktor Freitas might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustaf Björnberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Víktor Freitas ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pål Tingberg during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With his leg Sten Lange managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Rimbo's Gösta Bålström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sten Lange made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Bålström in the 93rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Högsäter FK's zone, Villiam Eliasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sten Lange came out of the goal and Villiam Eliasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rimbo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
