Tunnebro AIK's Kjell Kihlman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Ekelund in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Vallander in the 12th minute of play forced Tunnebro AIK's goalkeeper Kjell Kihlman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Tunnebro AIK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Stig-Arne Rudkvist hit a great ball. Trensum's Tobias Stabbe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Lilja in the 16th minute of play. Stig-Arne Rudkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Trensum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hampus Bratt to maneuver through the defense. Trensum were furious when André Wennerberg was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Trensum's supporters rose to their feet, but Olof Eriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjell Kihlman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olof Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Kjell Kihlman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tim Lilja was the one to do the kick off. Viktor Ahlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Tobias Stabbe made a huge save. 57 minutes into the match, Tunnebro AIK's Viktor Ahlberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Stabbe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Viktor Ahlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Tobias Stabbe made a huge save. When Trensum's Niklas Vallander in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Olof Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell Kihlman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Eriksson in the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, one of Tunnebro AIK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tunnebro AIK. With a little luck, Trensum's Tobias Stabbe got control of the ball when Viktor Ahlberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viktor Ahlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Tobias Stabbe made a huge save. Olof Eriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Kihlman having to interfere. The supporters of Trensum booed when Tunnebro AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egil Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tunnebro AIK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Trensum had controlled the match.
