The supporters of Östhammar booed when Örebro SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sture Ljungberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Manfred Vestlund got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marcus Bure was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Goran Sáfár showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. When Östhammar's Goran Sáfár in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Örebro SK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 23rd minute, Manfred Vestlund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus Bure was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Etxahun Quesada hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manfred Vestlund got free with Marcus Bure in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Östhammar were furious when Corbett Limmer was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After having played for 46 minutes, Manfred Vestlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Östhammar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfred Vestlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when 邵远烽 made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Manfred Vestlund sped through Örebro SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcus Bure. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Manfred Vestlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Östhammar's supporters rose to their feet, but Manfred Vestlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Bure breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bertil Strandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jörn Frisck during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jörn Frisck hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Bertil Strandberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Nordkvist hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Örebro SK's Henric Fernkvist managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Etxahun Quesada in the 78 minute of the game. 邵远烽 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Isac Johansson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 邵远烽 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Manfred Vestlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Östhammar's supporters rose to their feet, but Manfred Vestlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Bure breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Östhammar fully deserved thier win.
