After a rather tough play, Nävlinge's Jens-Ola Smefeldt got a free kick in the 10th minute. Henry Stenqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Albom having to interfere. Joachim Ekström struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Birger Albom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grycksbo RK. Birger Albom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Collin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grycksbo RK's Björn Forssberg got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nävlinge's Egil Deckbergh, in the 26th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Nävlinge. The crowd rose to their feet as Nävlinge's Johan Enström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bartosz Lerych. That made the score 1-1 after 28 minutes of play. Egil Deckbergh came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bartosz Lerych could save by the left post. In the 34th minute Lars Collin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Albom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Collin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egil Deckbergh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Bartosz Lerych made a huge save. Joachim Ekström might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Birger Albom. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joachim Ekström ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lars Collin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Birger Albom didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 51st minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. In the 57th minute, Jens-Ola Smefeldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Grycksbo RK's Joachim Ekström tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Rasmus Larsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nävlinge's supporters rose to their feet, but Rasmus Larsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartosz Lerych breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 64 played minutes Nävlinge got a freekick which was hit by Karl Lundin. Björn Forssberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Grycksbo RK's Lars Collin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Birger Albom. That made the score 1-4 after 88 minutes of play. In the 91st minute, Johan Enström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joachim Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Nävlinge fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Grycksbo RK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
