In the 12th match minute, Tännäs IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Strömberg to maneuver through the defense. Emil Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sven-Erik Ekeroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magne Bark in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Robertsfors IK's Silvestre Rioja nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alf Bokelund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 27 played minutes Tännäs IK got a freekick which was hit by Emil Eklund. After 29 played minutes Tännäs IK got a freekick which was hit by Magne Bark. Silvestre Rioja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Alf Bokelund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Eklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Ersman charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Ersman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebastian Ersman kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Robertsfors IK got a freekick which was hit by Knut Koch. After having played for 43 minutes, Emil Eklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tännäs IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Eklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sven-Erik Ekeroth was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Magne Bark showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 45 minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Edvin Rang made the kick off in the second half. Alf Bokelund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartoli Echave, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 52 minutes into the game, Christer Jakobsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tännäs IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Robertsfors IK the free kick. 55 minutes into the match, Tännäs IK's goalkeeper Alf Bokelund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Rioja. After 67 minutes, Stefan Blanck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Robertsfors IK and the Tännäs IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, one of Robertsfors IK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Robertsfors IK. In the 72nd minute, Tännäs IK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Silvestre Rioja fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 74 minutes, Bartoli Echave managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Robertsfors IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartoli Echave was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 75 played minutes Robertsfors IK got a freekick which was hit by Knut Koch. In the 79th minute, Magne Bark ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Erik Ekeroth was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Tännäs IK's Edvin Rang got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvin Rang in the 86th minute of play forced Robertsfors IK's goalkeeper Sven-Erik Ekeroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Magne Bark ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Erik Ekeroth was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Tännäs IK were victorious despite being under pressure from Robertsfors IK for much of the match.
