In the 8th minute, Ockelbo IK's Egil Brolin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Egil Brolin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ockelbo IK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Egil Brolin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ockelbo IK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! Luis-Alfredo Verdu might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olof Ivarsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis-Alfredo Verdu ran back to his position shaking his head. Elixio Fabelo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Edvard Kjellqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luis-Alfredo Verdu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Luis-Alfredo Verdu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olof Ivarsson. That made the score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. Åke Kellman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Magnus Sjögren in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34thth minute of the game Luis-Alfredo Verdu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ockelbo IK's Olof Ivarsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th match minute, Ockelbo IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Magnus Sjögren to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Ockelbo IK's Jesper Mellin was substituted for Ludwig Holmberg. Stig-Åke Norström charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig-Åke Norström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd minute, Stig-Åke Norström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis-Alfredo Verdu in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olof Ivarsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olof Ivarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Kvick, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Kristian Bond had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olof Ivarsson. Ockelbo IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kristian Bond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Ockelbo IK's zone, Kristian Bond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olof Ivarsson came out of the goal and Kristian Bond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kristian Bond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olof Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis-Alfredo Verdu in the 73rd minute of the match. Kristian Bond struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Olof Ivarsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Callmar United. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ockelbo IK's goalkeeper Olof Ivarsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ockelbo IK defense, Kristian Bond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olof Ivarsson. The Ockelbo IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olof Ivarsson should have stopped the shot. In the 78th match minute, Ockelbo IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Magnus Sjögren to maneuver through the defense. Ockelbo IK's Sören Häger was substituted for Knut Lindström. In the 79th minute, Karl-Magnus Sjögren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Luis-Alfredo Verdu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Callmar United's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis-Alfredo Verdu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olof Ivarsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Callmar United's Kristian Bond got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ockelbo IK's Olof Ivarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis-Alfredo Verdu in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Callmar United's Luis-Alfredo Verdu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olof Ivarsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Callmar United fully deserved thier win.
