Pål Svanér received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ian Almkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Lycke IK's Ian Almkvist got control of the ball when Pål Svanér tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Glad in the 13th minute of play forced Fc Barcelona's goalkeeper Jörgen Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fc Barcelona's Jörgen Sjögren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esbjörn Nyman in the 16th minute of play. Pål Svanér sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee gave Lycke IK a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Freddie Gustafsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fc Barcelona's Jörgen Sjögren. 0-1. Pål Svanér could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Ian Almkvist made a huge save. If Gösta Bäckman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pål Svanér came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Fc Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pål Svanér couldn't finish the play. After 36 played minutes Fc Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Gunnarsson.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esbjörn Nyman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vitinho Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vitinho Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 66 minutes into the match, Fc Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Freddie Gustafsson came free, but Jörgen Sjögren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jörgen Sjögren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alf Glad in the 68th minute. If Esbjörn Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esbjörn Nyman in the 73rd minute of play forced Fc Barcelona's goalkeeper Jörgen Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddie Gustafsson hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Ian Almkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isak Kullander, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Jörgen Sjögren came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Lycke IK's Alf Glad. But to his dismay, Alf Glad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as David Wikander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jörgen Sjögren. That made the score 0-4 in the 84 minute of play. In the 87th minute, Gustav Gunnarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jörgen Sjögren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alf Glad in the 95th minute. Jörgen Sjögren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esbjörn Nyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lycke IK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
