The throw-in from Davide Briganti in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by nyköpings's Vilhelm Ekberg. Eskil Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Marrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute Marcos Marrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conny Linqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eskil Tunander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conny Linqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. After 14 minutes of play, Grängesberg's Marcos Marrero made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eskil Tunander was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Grängesberg's Marcos Marrero got a free kick in the 16th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcos Marrero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eskil Tunander. That made the score 3-0 in the 22 minute of play. nyköpings's Anders Gallin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Conny Linqvist, made in the 28th minute of the game. Grängesberg's Marcos Marrero got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 32 minutes, Stig-Arne Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grängesberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Arne Fredriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Grängesberg's Marcos Marrero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eskil Tunander. That made the score 4-0 after 34 minutes of play. Conny Linqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Eskil Tunander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Marcos Marrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Marcos Marrero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eskil Tunander was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilhelm Lingren got free with Eskil Tunander in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anders Gallin made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Vilhelm Lingren made a precise shot to the right of Eskil Tunander. nyköpings's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 61 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Lingren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Eskil Tunander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the nyköpings defense, Marcos Marrero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eskil Tunander. The nyköpings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eskil Tunander should have stopped the shot. Eskil Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Marrero in the 69th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Vilhelm Ekberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. nyköpings's Eskil Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilhelm Lingren in the 74th minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, Grängesberg's Stig-Arne Fredriksson made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eskil Tunander was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eskil Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Arne Fredriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Lingren in the 85th minute of play forced nyköpings's goalkeeper Eskil Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. nyköpings's Vilhelm Ekberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Davide Briganti, made in the 91st minute of the game. Davide Briganti made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by nyköpings's Vilhelm Ekberg. nyköpings's attentive Anders Gallin managed to snatch the ball when Conny Linqvist made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Grängesberg players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
