Ivan Almstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Söderkvist in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Per-Åke Bergman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Almstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Gustaf Uggla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Almstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glemmingebro BK were furious when Kjell Hellström was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 21 minutes into the game, one of Glemmingebro BK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Urban Alkvist walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Per-Åke Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Almstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Brandin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svante Kaxe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute Axel Brandin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Almstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Almstedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Brandin's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Svante Kaxe to strike the kick off in the second half. Axel Brandin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustaf Uggla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Almstedt having to interfere. Karl-Oskar Delin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ragnar Bergström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Robert Klementsson fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gällö's protests and gave Robert Klementsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th match minute, Gällö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Klementsson to maneuver through the defense. Axel Brandin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Per-Åke Bergman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ivan Almstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Axel Brandin came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Glemmingebro BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Brandin couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the match, Glemmingebro BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ragnar Bergström came free, but Karl-Oskar Delin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Gällö getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ted Hellkvist hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Gällö's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Åke Bergman came free, but Ivan Almstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragnar Bergström in the 75th minute of play forced Glemmingebro BK's goalkeeper Karl-Oskar Delin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 minutes, Axel Brandin made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Gällö's Ivan Almstedt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Axel Brandin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Almstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. When Svante Kaxe came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Gällö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Svante Kaxe couldn't finish the play. Ivan Almstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Åke Bergman, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Ivan Almstedt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Axel Brandin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 92 minute of play. Glemmingebro BK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
