Spectators: 7194 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Håkan Lång took the kick off in the first half of the match. Valentin Nilsson hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Håkan Lång sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvar Utter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Almstedt having to interfere. In the 17th minute Douglas Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Almstedt came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Lakene IFK's Tytus Olchowy. But to his dismay, Tytus Olchowy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ivan Almstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvar Utter in the 24th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Alvar Utter made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Almstedt. Gällö's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Lakene IFK's Ted Eklund managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Douglas Fredriksson in the 36 minute of the game. When Mårten Svanberg fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lakene IFK's protests and gave Mårten Svanberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gällö booed when Lakene IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mårten Svanberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Gällö getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Urban Alkvist hit a great ball. Håkan Lång blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Almstedt having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Svante Kaxe made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Håkan Lång ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Almstedt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After having played for 56 minutes, Håkan Lång managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lakene IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Håkan Lång was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Lakene IFK's Ted Eklund got a free kick in the 60th minute. Urban Alkvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rudolf Lundqvist. Lakene IFK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alvar Utter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Almstedt having to interfere. In the 63rdth minute of the game Alvar Utter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gällö's Ivan Almstedt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rudolf Lundqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svante Kaxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Håkan Lång could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Ivan Almstedt made a huge save. When Håkan Lång came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Lakene IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Håkan Lång couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Håkan Lång managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lakene IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Håkan Lång was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Almstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute, Lakene IFK's Alvar Utter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ivan Almstedt. Ivan Almstedt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. In the 84th minute, Gällö's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Håkan Lång fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some careless play in the Lakene IFK defense, Valentin Nilsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rudolf Lundqvist. The Lakene IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rudolf Lundqvist should have stopped the shot. Alvar Utter received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivan Almstedt came out and tried to block the shot, but Alvar Utter slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 91st minute. Håkan Lång sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Almstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvar Utter, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Lakene IFK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
