Spectators: 6666 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 1) Gisslafors IF's Stefan Apelqvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Gisslafors IF defense, Ivan Lindholm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stig-Åke Lund. The Gisslafors IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stig-Åke Lund should have stopped the shot. In the 16th match minute, Lilla edet BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Holmberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Bengt-Arne Anselius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Stefan Apelqvist took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Lucas Wästerberg to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jörgen Thedin in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig-Åke Lund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Lilla edet BK's Lucas Wästerberg got control of the ball when Aleksander Vestlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jörgen Thedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig-Åke Lund came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Lilla edet BK's Ivan Lindholm. But to his dismay, Ivan Lindholm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ivan Lindholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Gisslafors IF's Felix Skytt got a free kick in the 47th minute. After 48 played minutes, Lilla edet BK's Isac Jonasson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stig-Åke Lund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lilla edet BK reached it. The Gisslafors IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lilla edet BK were winning 1-2.

Lilla edet BK's Ivan Lindholm got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Jörgen Thedin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stig-Åke Lund. That made the score 1-3 in the 58 minute of play. Jörgen Thedin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Stig-Åke Lund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stig-Åke Lund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jörgen Thedin's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jörgen Thedin in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig-Åke Lund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jörgen Thedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Jörgen Thedin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stig-Åke Lund. The goal made the score 1-4. Jörgen Thedin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stig-Åke Lund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörgen Thedin, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Jörgen Thedin struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Stig-Åke Lund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lilla edet BK.
