An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnús Kollberg in the 27th minute of play forced Västerås Sport Klubb's goalkeeper Kurt Olsman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Anders Hedman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Kurt Olsman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The wind increased when Henning Finsberg made the kick off in the second half. Kurt Olsman came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Glemmingebro FF's Anders Hedman. But to his dismay, Anders Hedman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. William Kleen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Kurt Olsman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Hedman in the 57th minute of play forced Västerås Sport Klubb's goalkeeper Kurt Olsman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Christer Nordmark fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Västerås Sport Klubb's protests and gave Christer Nordmark a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes Västerås Sport Klubb got a freekick which was hit by Christer Nordmark. In the 58th minute Henning Finsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Olsman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Västerås Sport Klubb's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Hedman came free, but Kurt Olsman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Benjamin Petersson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kurt Olsman, 0-8. Kurt Olsman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. Kurt Olsman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Hedman in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Sven-Åke Östlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. William Kleen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Olsman having to interfere. Kurt Olsman made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Kleen in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, William Kleen notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Västerås Sport Klubb's Kurt Olsman. Kurt Olsman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
