Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Henrik Lundin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 played minutes Idre got a freekick which was hit by Bror Uggstedt. In the 5th minute of the match Stig-Ove Melberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anton Rang showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tage Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Rang having to interfere. Henrik Lundin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anton Rang came out and tried to block the shot, but Henrik Lundin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. In the 17th minute, Tommy Dusett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils-Åke Andersson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Bror Uggstedt's late challenge caught a Mölnlycke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bror Uggstedt helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mölnlycke booed when Idre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bror Uggstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Tage Nilsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anton Rang. Idre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tage Nilsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When Henrik Lundin came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Mölnlycke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrik Lundin couldn't finish the play. Anton Rang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Lundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kent Vestberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Åke Andersson having to interfere. Nils-Åke Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Vestberg in the 45th minute of play.
After a rather tough play, Idre's Bror Uggstedt got a free kick in the 51st minute. Tommy Dusett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kent Vestberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Nils-Åke Andersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anton Rang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Lundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tage Nilsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anton Rang having to make a save. In the 69th minute Tage Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Rang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Henrik Lundin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anton Rang was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, Mölnlycke's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Vestberg came free, but Nils-Åke Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Tage Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mölnlycke's supporters rose to their feet, but Tage Nilsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Rang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nils-Åke Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Vestberg in the 94th minute of the match. Mölnlycke's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
