Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute of the match, Tage Nilsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alf Forssberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 14 minutes into the game, Tage Nilsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mölnlycke's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eriksgoagubbar the free kick. The supporters of Eriksgoagubbar booed when Mölnlycke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tage Nilsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Algot Karlsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nils-Åke Andersson. Mölnlycke's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Algot Karlsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A hard shot 25 in the game by Tage Nilsson from a close distance when the talented Alf Forssberg managed to make a qualified save. Eriksgoagubbar's players were relieved. After 25 played minutes Eriksgoagubbar got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Aguiar. The audience was convinced that Rares Anghel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nils-Åke Andersson was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Alf Forssberg came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mölnlycke's Tage Nilsson. But to his dismay, Tage Nilsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 37th minute, Tage Nilsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nils-Åke Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rares Anghel in the 44th minute of play. Henrik Lundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Forssberg having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Tage Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mölnlycke's supporters rose to their feet, but Tage Nilsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alf Forssberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rares Anghel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alf Forssberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tage Nilsson in the 55th minute of the match. Mölnlycke's Tage Nilsson got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Tage Nilsson off the ground. In the 59th match minute, Mölnlycke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tage Nilsson to maneuver through the defense. If Henrik Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Viggo Sjögren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute Rares Anghel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Åke Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Eriksgoagubbar getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Andréas Vester hit a great ball. Viggo Sjögren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Forssberg having to interfere. Nils-Åke Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rares Anghel in the 71st minute of the match. When Mölnlycke's Henrik Lundin in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eriksgoagubbar's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rares Anghel in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nils-Åke Andersson saved Mölnlycke from getting behind. After 75 played minutes Mölnlycke got a freekick which was hit by Edward Larsfelt. Henrik Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Henrik Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils-Åke Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rares Anghel in the 83rd minute of play. Eriksgoagubbar's Rares Anghel got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Eriksgoagubbar had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
