Väse RK's John Dahlgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Väse RK from getting a goal against them. Linus Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agne Jespersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Väse RK's Sixten Byström got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute, Markus Apelkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 played minutes, Väse RK's Kent Billock shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Linus Martinsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Väse RK reached it. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Emil Bock sped through Väse RK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of John Dahlgren. Emil Bock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. John Dahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Dahlgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Engström in the 22nd minute of play. If Hans Hedström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st match minute, Härstorps AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Stigsson to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Tim Kjellberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Linus Martinsson. Härstorps AIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tim Kjellberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Kent Billock was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Linus Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixten Byström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mikael Engström made a kick off. Markus Apelkvist hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. A long shot from Kent Billock in the 52nd minute of play was well struck, but Linus Martinsson made a really good save at the right post. In the 65th minute, Härstorps AIK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sven-Edvin Petersson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In a very dangerous position, a player in Väse RK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! When Sixten Byström fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Väse RK's protests and gave Sixten Byström a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Härstorps AIK booed when Väse RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixten Byström didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Mikael Engström put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of John Dahlgren. Linus Martinsson made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Sven-Edvin Petersson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Bock in the 94th minute of play forced Väse RK's goalkeeper John Dahlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Väse RK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Härstorps AIK.
