Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Robert Lundhberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Hovmantorp's Mark Lägdin got a free kick in the 4th minute. When Mark Lägdin fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hovmantorp's protests and gave Mark Lägdin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Mark Lägdin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the game, Linus Beckman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hovmantorp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Solheim IK the free kick. Linus Beckman hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Carl Lövgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solheim IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carl Lövgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14thth minute of the game Carl Lövgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hovmantorp's Ronny Bruhn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute, Mark Lägdin made a precise shot to the right of Anders Klack. Solheim IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Ronny Bruhn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Lövgren in the 20th minute of the match. Ronny Bruhn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carl Lövgren's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the game, Solheim IK's Carl Lövgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronny Bruhn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Lundhberg in the 29th minute of play forced Solheim IK's goalkeeper Anders Klack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Solheim IK's Anders Klack got control of the ball when Melker Axelsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Carl Lövgren came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Solheim IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Lövgren couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Lövgren in the 38th minute of play forced Hovmantorp's goalkeeper Ronny Bruhn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hovmantorp's Ronny Bruhn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Lövgren in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Sven-Arne Felin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronny Bruhn. Hovmantorp's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Arne Felin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Hovmantorp's Robert Lundhberg in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Solheim IK's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Solheim IK booed when Hovmantorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Linus Beckman didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Hovmantorp getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Melker Axelsson hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Solheim IK's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Lundhberg came free, but Anders Klack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anders Klack didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mark Lägdin went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Carl Lövgren got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Solheim IK booed when Hovmantorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arman Uggla didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Göran Alstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Solheim IK's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Lägdin came free, but Anders Klack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Solheim IK's Göran Alstedt got a free kick in the 95th minute.
