Kinnarp IK were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Rockatansky Beavers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bengt-Åke Vestlund took the corner. After taking down the ball on Kinnarp IK's corner Bengt-Åke Vestlund fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emil Svensson quite easily take care of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Lennart Kilström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emil Svensson. Rockatansky Beavers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennart Kilström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Ronny Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes into the game, Rockatansky Beavers's Süreyya Mengüer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan-Olof Hägg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Emil Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joacim Strandberg in the 45th minute of the match. Lennart Kilström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emil Svensson came out and tried to block the shot, but Lennart Kilström slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

In the 57th minute Viggo Lind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Erik Grönlund in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Svensson saved Rockatansky Beavers from getting behind. Ronny Holmberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Jan-Olof Hägg made a huge save. Süreyya Mengüer struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Jan-Olof Hägg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rockatansky Beavers. In the 67th minute, Kinnarp IK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Süreyya Mengüer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Ronny Holmberg came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Rockatansky Beavers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronny Holmberg couldn't finish the play. Rockatansky Beavers's Emil Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Kilström in the 74th minute of play. Arne Almstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to Kinnarp IK getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Lennart Kilström hit a great ball. Rockatansky Beavers's Süreyya Mengüer got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emil Svensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Erik Grönlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Kilström in the 93rd minute of play.
