Malcolm Bollström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Tidén having to interfere. Malcolm Bollström scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mikael Tidén, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michael Sandström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver Rudkvist went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Leif Offendahl kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Karl Fransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Sandström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Erland Wahlström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Special Army's Frank Hansson got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Leif Blom fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MikestrikersBK's protests and gave Leif Blom a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Special Army booed when MikestrikersBK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Blom didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Bengt-Arne Drake in the 37th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Mikael Tidén's left hand side. Malcolm Bollström took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mikael Tidén. Mikael Tidén dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Oliver Rudkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl Fransson was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Leif Offendahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malcolm Bollström's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Mikael Tidén skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Malcolm Bollström managed to get in a good position for a shot. MikestrikersBK's supporters rose to their feet, but Malcolm Bollström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikael Tidén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lennart Hedling kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Bengt-Arne Drake was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Lennart Hedling hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Special Army's Mikael Tidén proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Special Army from getting a goal against them. Michael Sandström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Boklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th match minute, Special Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilhelm Vallander to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 81 in the game by Malcolm Bollström from a close distance when the talented Mikael Tidén managed to make a qualified save. Special Army's players were relieved. 84 minutes into the match, MikestrikersBK's Malcolm Bollström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikael Tidén narrowly saved just below the crossbar. MikestrikersBK's Leif Blom quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugo Boklund, made in the 87th minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georg Gullesson couldn't finish the play. MikestrikersBK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
