The Special Army fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, MikestrikersBK's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Hansson came free, but Michael Sandström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilhelm Vallander scored 1-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michael Sandström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 20 played minutes Special Army got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Rudkvist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Fransson in the 24th minute of play forced MikestrikersBK's goalkeeper Michael Sandström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Karl Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Malcolm Bollström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Special Army's Ernst Hake got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Special Army's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Arne Drake came free, but Mikael Tidén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Special Army's goalkeeper Mikael Tidén had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Georg Gullesson. Michael Sandström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Fransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half Special Army were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Malcolm Bollström made the kick off in the second half. Malcolm Bollström might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mikael Tidén. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Malcolm Bollström ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 53rd minute Malcolm Bollström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Tidén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lennart Hedling during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Special Army's Lennart Hedling got a free kick in the 57th minute. The audience was convinced that Malcolm Bollström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikael Tidén was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Special Army's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Gullesson came free, but Mikael Tidén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MikestrikersBK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anders Norström ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Special Army's corner Anders Norström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Michael Sandström quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the MikestrikersBK defense, Frank Hansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Sandström. The MikestrikersBK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Sandström should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Rudkvist got free with Michael Sandström in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Hansson came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Michael Sandström could save by the left post. After 80 minutes, Rasmus Andberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MikestrikersBK and the Special Army players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erland Wahlström scored 2-4 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michael Sandström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Malcolm Bollström in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikael Tidén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the match, Frank Hansson notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of MikestrikersBK's Michael Sandström. Michael Sandström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Special Army walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
