In the 88thth minute of the game Sancho Mayol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MikestrikersBK's Michael Sandström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. MikestrikersBK's Michael Sandström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save MikestrikersBK from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute Lennart Valrot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Sandström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magnus Lundin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Michael Sandström firmly grabbed it by the left post. FC Ballkickers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
