Spectators: 7229 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edgar Kihlman started the match with the kick off. Marcus Fredriksson came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Arild FF's Max Bergkvist. But to his dismay, Max Bergkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Kihlman in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tord Carlberg saved Arild FF from getting behind. Edgar Kihlman took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tord Carlberg. Tord Carlberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Edgar Kihlman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Carlberg having to interfere. Garry Brown received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Tord Carlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Robert Jansson notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Arild FF's Tord Carlberg. Tord Carlberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 38 played minutes, Merseyside Kickers's Vilgot Samuelsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tord Carlberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Merseyside Kickers reached it. After 39 played minutes Merseyside Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Garry Brown. After a rather tough play, Merseyside Kickers's 陶林奕 got a free kick in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the game, Edgar Kihlman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Tord Carlberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 48 minutes, 陶林奕 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merseyside Kickers and the Arild FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 played minutes Merseyside Kickers got a freekick which was hit by 陶林奕. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

In the 56th minute, Arild FF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sigvard Lundgren fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Merseyside Kickers fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Merseyside Kickers's Edgar Kihlman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 67 minutes of play, Arild FF's Viggo Rosendahl made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Fredriksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Merseyside Kickers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olov Fransson in the 73rd minute. In the 81st match minute, Arild FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Åke Nord to maneuver through the defense. Arild FF's Tord Carlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Kihlman in the 83rd minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Merseyside Kickers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Arild FF:s goal. Viggo Rosendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Marcus Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Fredriksson came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Arild FF's Viggo Rosendahl. But to his dismay, Viggo Rosendahl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-5.
