In the 14th match minute, Alafors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Linus Strand to maneuver through the defense. When Oskar Ström came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Dala-Floda RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskar Ström couldn't finish the play. Dala-Floda RK's Marko Brodin got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Rune Tolsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Einar Björklund. Alafors FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rune Tolsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the referee ended the match the Dala-Floda RK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
