Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5419, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rikard Uggstedt made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dag Lindblom got free with Walter Ekeroth in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rikard Uggstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bengt Wennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rikard Uggstedt in the 14th minute of play. Walter Ekeroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Hägglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ånge IK's zone, Rikard Uggstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt Wennerström came out of the goal and Rikard Uggstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Carlavägen United booed when Ånge IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Benet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Fredrik Andersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walter Ekeroth was a little too slow when Dag Lindblom got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Pär Eliasson made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Kim Gustafsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dag Lindblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Walter Ekeroth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arman Sefastsson kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71stth minute of the game Pär Eliasson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carlavägen United's Walter Ekeroth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute Pär Eliasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Ekeroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
