Elias Lind received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Michael Nordal came out and tried to block the shot, but Elias Lind slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 16th minute. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Elias Lind got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Pontus Löfkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herman Nyberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Bo Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 29 minutes, Pedro Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TarTon United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pontus Löfkvist got free with Michael Nordal in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elias Lind who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Michael Nordal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bo Göransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herman Nyberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. A collision led to Munkes Barbie Army getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Patric Ekblom hit a great ball. In the 39th minute Elias Lind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Nordal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Nyberg in the 44th minute of play forced Munkes Barbie Army's goalkeeper Bo Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of TarTon United booed when Munkes Barbie Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patric Ekblom didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elias Lind stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. TarTon United's Michael Nordal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Lindsten in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, TarTon United's Christopher Olsson got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Frisk got free with Bo Göransson in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ludwig Askelöf, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
