In the 25th minute, Torekov RK's Bernt Martinsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Per-Arne Strömqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Martinsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 34 played minutes Algutsrum IF got a freekick which was hit by Göran Rosin. Algutsrum IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Mikael Västberg scored to the left of an out of position Per-Arne Strömqvist, making the score, 2-0. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Per-Arne Strömqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, Gösta Bergvall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Algutsrum IF's Yngve Hegg was substituted for Daniel Sörman. Algutsrum IF were furious when Marcus Vidman was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 90 minutes into the game, one of Algutsrum IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Torekov RK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Algutsrum IF for a fine match.
