In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Fritsla FF. Egon Salkvist stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Per-Arne Strömqvist. 2-0. In the 32nd minute, Göran Rosin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Algutsrum IF's Per-Arne Strömqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Algutsrum IF from getting a goal against them. Per-Arne Strömqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Qvalfeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 47 played minutes Algutsrum IF got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Påk. Egon Salkvist was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lukas Qvalfeldt to make the kick off. Göran Rosin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Wahlnäs having to interfere. Per-Arne Strömqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Åke Molin in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Karl-Åke Molin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Arne Strömqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Åke Molin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Arne Strömqvist having to interfere. After 85 minutes, Ture Dalberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Algutsrum IF and the Fritsla FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ture Dalberg kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Algutsrum IF's Per-Arne Strömqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Qvalfeldt in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukas Qvalfeldt in the 95th minute of play forced Algutsrum IF's goalkeeper Per-Arne Strömqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute Lukas Qvalfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Arne Strömqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Fritsla FF were the better team. Fritsla FF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
