The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tom Ahlström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hjalmar Bergström having to interfere. If Simon Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Bergström in the 8th minute of play forced Slöinge IK's goalkeeper Hjalmar Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tom Ahlström took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hjalmar Bergström. Hjalmar Bergström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Tim Asserlind fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Tygelsjö's protests and gave Tim Asserlind a yellow card for diving instead. Tim Asserlind hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Tim Asserlind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Hjalmar Bergström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Slöinge IK's Hjalmar Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Magnusson in the 25th minute of play. In the 35th minute Vidar Nyqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjalmar Bergström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hjalmar Bergström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joakim Bergström in the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Tygelsjö booed when Slöinge IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ragnar Fredriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mats Billström hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The Slöinge IK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Tygelsjö were winning 0-1.

After 51 played minutes Slöinge IK got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Alströmer. 55 minutes into the match, Slöinge IK's goalkeeper Hjalmar Bergström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tim Asserlind. Hjalmar Bergström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Magnusson in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Ragnar Fredriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th match minute, FC Tygelsjö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Bergström to maneuver through the defense. Geoffroy Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Hermansson in the 60th minute of the match. Hjalmar Bergström made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Tom Ahlström sent off a good shot on target. FC Tygelsjö's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joakim Bergström in the 68th minute. Tim Asserlind came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hjalmar Bergström could save by the left post. Hjalmar Bergström was a little too slow when Tom Ahlström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-3. Hjalmar Bergström was a little too slow when Vidar Nyqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tom Ahlström got free with Hjalmar Bergström in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tom Ahlström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 92 minutes into the match, Slöinge IK's goalkeeper Hjalmar Bergström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tim Asserlind. Ragnar Fredriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. FC Tygelsjö's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
