Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sven-Edvin Telin made the kick off which started today's match. Sven-Edvin Telin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Lönn having to interfere. A collision led to Västerhaninge IK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jens-Ove Heggert hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Alvesta BK's Örjan Vibjörnsson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Karl-Michael Vidman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Mossberg having to interfere. After some careless play in the Västerhaninge IK defense, Sven-Edvin Telin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tord Lönn. The Västerhaninge IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tord Lönn should have stopped the shot. John Mossberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Vidman in the 21st minute of play. Rolf Söderberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Tord Lönn made a huge save. Sven-Edvin Telins short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Tord Lönn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 27th minute, Alvesta BK's Rolf Söderberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. A collision led to Alvesta BK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Wilhelm Pettersson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Alvesta BK's zone, Ingemar Waller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Mossberg came out of the goal and Ingemar Waller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. John Mossberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Waller in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, Alvesta BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilhelm Pettersson to maneuver through the defense. When Lars-Erik Klemensson fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Västerhaninge IK's protests and gave Lars-Erik Klemensson a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Västerhaninge IK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingemar Waller was the one to do the kick off. Rolf Söderberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Alvesta BK booed when Västerhaninge IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Sigfridsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tord Lönn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Söderberg in the 58th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Sven-Edvin Telin sped through Västerhaninge IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tord Lönn. Tord Lönn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Söderberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Rolf Söderberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Tord Lönn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Villiam Hökqvist hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. A hard shot 81 in the game by Ingemar Waller from a close distance when the talented John Mossberg managed to make a qualified save. Alvesta BK's players were relieved. Bertil Sigfridsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but John Mossberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Rolf Söderberg scored 6-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tord Lönn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Villiam Hökqvist notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Västerhaninge IK's Tord Lönn. Tord Lönn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute Alvesta BK were awarded a corner. Örjan Vibjörnsson went to the cornerflag to take it. Sven-Edvin Telin struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Tord Lönn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvesta BK.
