Norsholm's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Egon Fredriksson scored to the left of an out of position Niklas Klementsson, making the score, 1-0. In the 8thth minute of the game Esbjörn Arvidsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hamneda FF's Conny Backman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Norsholm's zone, Egon Fredriksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niklas Klementsson came out of the goal and Egon Fredriksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niklas Klementsson made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Ulf Nordström sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Hamneda FF's Walter Ekberg got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Esbjörn Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norsholm's Esbjörn Arvidsson got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulf Nordström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egon Fredriksson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niklas Klementsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After 26 minutes of play, Norsholm's Gabriel Abrahamsson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conny Backman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rune Nordlund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Conny Backman. Hamneda FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Gabriel Abrahamsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes Hamneda FF got a freekick which was hit by Hans Bratt. 39 minutes into the match, Norsholm's Gabriel Abrahamsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conny Backman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Esbjörn Arvidsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conny Backman. Hamneda FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esbjörn Arvidsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Egon Fredriksson to make the kick off. Norsholm's Niklas Klementsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egon Fredriksson in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Hamneda FF booed when Norsholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. August Jonasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute of the match Rune Nordlund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conny Backman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Mattsson in the 66th minute of play forced Hamneda FF's goalkeeper Conny Backman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esbjörn Arvidsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Conny Backman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulf Nordström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Esbjörn Arvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Backman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Gabriel Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norsholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Abrahamsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conny Backman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th match minute, Norsholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melker Sundström to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 93 minutes, Egon Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hamneda FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egon Fredriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute Esbjörn Arvidsson suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 95 minutes into the game, Marc Lenberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hamneda FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Norsholm the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hamneda FF's Marc Lenberg got a free kick in the 96th minute.
