Sebastian Falkrantz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peter Bållström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Falkrantz having to interfere. In the 17th minute Bo Pihlwall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Falkrantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Falkrantz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Nyberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Örjan Näver got free with Sven-Ove Henriksson in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, Väsby FK's goalkeeper Sven-Ove Henriksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Örjan Näver. The Furulund FF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Väsby FK were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eric Sundberg to make the kick off. Marcus Skröder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastian Falkrantz having to make a save. Sebastian Falkrantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Skröder in the 59th minute of play. Sebastian Falkrantz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig Nyberg's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Bo Pihlwall might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Falkrantz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bo Pihlwall ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastian Falkrantz was a little too slow when Stig Nyberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-2. If Marcus Skröder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Furulund FF getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Kjell Ekström hit a great ball. Bo Pihlwall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Furulund FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Skröder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Väsby FK played a much better game than Furulund FF and deserved their victory. The Furulund FF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
