The referee ignored Väsby FK's protests and gave Andy Lundgren a yellow card for diving instead. Fabio Rafe shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After the first half Väsby FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bo Pihlwall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Bollwig in the 51st minute of play forced Väsby FK's goalkeeper Sven-Ove Henriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Billy Bollwig managed to get in a good position for a shot.
