Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Max Ekström started the match with the kick off. Max Ekström might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mikael Siggman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Max Ekström ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Billy Vallander successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Viggo Backman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Mikael Siggman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Exeter city's Billy Vallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Jonasson in the 11th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Exeter city got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Lund. After a rather tough play, Exeter city's Stig Ståhlman got a free kick in the 17th minute. Billy Vallander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Forsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Exeter city's Max Ekström got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Exeter city's goalkeeper Billy Vallander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Svensson. After 31 played minutes Exeter city got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Lund. In the 33rd minute, Edgar Svensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 34 minutes, Stig Ståhlman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Exeter city and the Stoby players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Exeter city got a freekick which was hit by Stig Ståhlman. With a little luck, Exeter city's Billy Vallander got control of the ball when Jonatan Melberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Billy Vallander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Enegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Jonatan Melberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Billy Vallander was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Boris Andersson fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Exeter city's protests and gave Boris Andersson a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 48 minutes, Edgar Svensson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stoby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Svensson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Svensson made a kick off. Billy Vallander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Forsberg in the 53rd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Exeter city's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Svensson came free, but Billy Vallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Max Ekström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Siggman having to interfere. Billy Vallander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Svensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 71st minute, Johannes Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Stoby's Anton Jonasson tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Exeter city's Rune Brander got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Edgar Svensson took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Billy Vallander. Billy Vallander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 80 minutes into the game, Stoby's Ralf Forsberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Billy Vallander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Billy Vallander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Forsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Stoby's Ralf Forsberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Billy Vallander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Stig-Arne Nyberg's late challenge caught a Exeter city's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig-Arne Nyberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Exeter city booed when Stoby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Arne Nyberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Exeter city's Billy Vallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Svensson in the 92nd minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Edgar Svensson notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Exeter city's Billy Vallander. Billy Vallander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Stoby players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
