Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Åtvidaberg's Daniel Säf started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Osvald Klint could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Folke Dalberg made a huge save. In the 8th match minute, Åtvidaberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristian Fredriksson to maneuver through the defense. After 9 minutes of play Åtvidaberg's Kristian Fredriksson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 10th match minute, Åtvidaberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristian Fredriksson to maneuver through the defense. Markaryd's Sven Fågel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Åtvidaberg. Osvald Klint sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Folke Dalberg came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Åtvidaberg's Osvald Klint. But to his dismay, Osvald Klint quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Osvald Klint received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Folke Dalberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Åtvidaberg's Osvald Klint got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Herbert Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åtvidaberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Herbert Henriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folke Dalberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tommy Larsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Dalberg having to interfere. A collision led to Markaryd getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Göran Björkman hit a great ball. Daniel Säf had several of the Markaryd's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Folke Dalberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. Niklas Axelsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Mellin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Niklas Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Fabian Mellin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niklas Axelsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Åtvidaberg's Herbert Henriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Folke Dalberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvald Klint in the 53rd minute of play. Osvald Klint received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Folke Dalberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Säf in the 62nd minute of play forced Markaryd's goalkeeper Folke Dalberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvald Klint sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Folke Dalberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Säf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrik Ahlrot lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Markaryd fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Markaryd:s Folke Dalberg showed great skill when he stopped Erling Dahlgren:s penalty. In the 82nd minute, Erling Dahlgren made a precise shot to the right of Folke Dalberg. Markaryd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Markaryd's zone, Osvald Klint stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folke Dalberg came out of the goal and Osvald Klint tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvald Klint sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Markaryd defense, Tommy Larsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Folke Dalberg. The Markaryd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Folke Dalberg should have stopped the shot. Åtvidaberg walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
