The audience was convinced that Henrik Boström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andy Askestät was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Evert Nyman was a little too slow when Zebastian Stenberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-2. Evert Nyman came out of the goal and Zebastian Stenberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evert Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Brandin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ljung's Andy Askestät played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Boström in the 42nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viktor Springfält during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Ljung was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Springfält to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Zebastian Stenberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evert Nyman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Andy Askestät showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Askstedt in the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Elias Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 79 minutes, Alexander Askstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Boll Trollers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Askstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Viktor Springfält notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of FC Boll Trollers's Evert Nyman. Evert Nyman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
